What It Took: A Wedding at Montauk Yacht Club
Some mornings announce themselves early. At the Montauk Yacht Club, the harbor did most of the talking: boats at rest, clear light off the water, and a venue that already knows how to be elegant without trying too hard. Our job was to design something that belonged there, and that felt unmistakably like our couple.The Set Up - Watch Video
The team and I were on site early and set up without hurry. The weather cooperated completely, with full sun and a light breeze off the water. It was a long day with a lot of moving parts, and none of them gave us trouble. That doesn't happen often, and we don't take it for granted. When a day runs this cleanly, the calm carries through to everyone in the room, and you can see it in the photos.
