Anatomy of a Hudson House Wedding

Hudson House in Jersey City is one of my favorite places to work, and my clients' 10-year vow renewal gave me another reason to love it. It was a large production with a long list of vendors, and our day started around 8 AM, in rain that never let up. My clients had their hearts set on an outdoor ceremony, and the weather had other plans.

The rain wasn't the only challenge. I planned and designed the entire celebration in just over a month, so there was no slack in the schedule and no room for a misstep. Looking back, what stays with me is how well it all came together. Every vendor on the team performed under real pressure, and their work is a big part of why the day is so memorable for me.
